Calgary student visit

The Calgary student visit celebrates participation in Connections by bringing select sixth-grade students and their teachers to Calgary for a week of fun and adventure. The aim of the visit is to provide an opportunity for students to meet each other and participate in activities with hope that they will create memories and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

Students are exposed to a variety of new experiences and opportunities as they visit educational and tourist sites in and around Calgary. These attractions often include, but are not limited to, Banff National Park, Banff Gondola, the Calgary Zoo and the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

Costs
Costs covered by the SMARTer Kids Foundation include airfare, accommodation, meals, local transportation and admission to Connections-sponsored activities during the Calgary student visit. Souvenirs, personal photography, personal transportation, meals and snacks not arranged by the Foundation, and substitute teaching costs are not covered by the Foundation.
