Patterns and Relations |
Use patterns
to describe the world and to solve problems
Patterned Pants
Students trace an outline of a teddy bear onto a blank sheet of paper
and create patterns by drawing clothes on the teddy bear.
Pattern Book
Students identify and recreate patterns in their environment by creating a book
of patterns that the ImagiNations teddy bear sees at the school (e.g., “I
notice the tiles in the hallway make a checker pattern”– student
then illustrates the pattern with the describing sentence underneath it).
