Number Expression Story
Students will apply their knowledge of addition on whole numbers by using a number expression such as 9+6=15 to write a story about the ImagiNations teddy bear (i.e. Mellow had 9 cookies and he baked 6 more cookies. Mellow ended up having 15 cookies in total.). Students then illustrate the number expression for further clarification.
